The Manual
The record, explained.
This knowledgebase covers every player-facing feature of the Golden Stallion ecosystem: Discord bot commands, dashboard workflows, notifications, support, market terminology, and the differences between regular users and server administrators.

Workspace
How to use the dashboard
The dashboard is your long-form workspace for collection management, price tracking, support, and notification preferences.
Portfolio
Open →Track holdings, review insight cards, edit quantities, and build a cleaner view of your collection.
- Star items to place them on your watchlist.
- Use the portfolio as the main long-form workspace instead of Discord chat.
- Refreshes quietly when you return to the tab.
Support
Open →Submit support requests, monitor status, upload attachments, and send follow-ups when support replies.
- Shared workflow with Discord support submissions.
- Supports attachments on initial messages and dashboard follow-ups.
- Shows timeline, status, closure reason, and full thread context.
Knowledgebase
Open →Use this guide for onboarding, command reference, support rules, glossary, and role guidance.
- Includes quick start, role guidance, FAQ, glossary, and route status.
- Best first stop if you are unsure where a feature lives.
- Now includes search, role filters, and expandable command cards.
Watchlist
Open →See everything you are currently tracking in one place, with live prices and state badges.
- Mirrored between Discord (/watchlist) and the dashboard.
- Up to 50 items per account.
- Drives Watchlist DMs when /settings has DMs enabled.
Settings
Open →Control language, Discord DM preferences, and dashboard notification behavior in one place.
- Toggle Watchlist, Price Alert, and Support DMs.
- Change the UI language — remembered on this device.
- Identical to /settings in Discord for the DM toggles.

Commands
How to use the Discord bot
The bot is best for quick in-server work: live price lookups, watchlist management, support intake, notification preferences, and guild-level configuration. Set the reading focus — Regular User or Server Admin — to see only the commands that apply to you.
Server Administrator (3)
Commands gated by Discord Administrator permission.
/server_settings viewAdminGuild ConfigView the current price-update configuration for this server (admin only).
What happens
The bot returns an ephemeral embed showing whether broadcasts are enabled and which channel is configured to receive them.
/server_settings price_updatesAdminGuild ConfigEnable or disable price-update broadcasts in this server.
Parameters
value — 'on' or 'off'. Only members with the Administrator permission can run this.
What happens
The bot stores the new setting and confirms privately. When enabled, price updates posted by staff will reach the configured channel.
Tip
Toggling off is useful during quiet periods or when you are re-organising server channels.
/server_settings set_channelAdminGuild ConfigPick the channel that receives price-update broadcasts.
Parameters
channel — any text channel where the bot can post. The bot must have permission to send messages there.
What happens
The bot stores the channel and confirms privately. Future broadcasts from staff land in that channel.
Tip
Pair set_channel with 'price_updates on' to start receiving broadcasts right away.
How the bot talks to you
A quick reference for the interactive UI patterns you'll see while using bot commands.
Autocomplete
Item and action fields suggest matches as you type — start typing two or more characters to see results.
Ephemeral messages
Pickers, confirmations, and private state are ephemeral — only you can see them in the channel.
Variant pickers
When an item has variants (e.g. pet levels), the bot privately asks which variant before posting the public price card.
Modals
/support and /suggest open form-style modals so you can submit structured text without typing arguments inline.
Buttons & toggles
/settings uses toggle buttons, and /price embeds include a Price History button that fetches ten recent snapshots.
DM dispatcher
DM delivery is best-effort: it depends on the dispatcher being online and your Discord DM settings allowing the bot to message you.
05
The Public Record
Item Intelligence
Each published item dossier brings together the selected aggregate valuation, coverage state, freshness, history, and public offer evidence. An unpriced result is an honest state, not a fabricated estimate.
06
Evidence Quality
Valuation Confidence
Confidence describes the selected aggregate valuation snapshot and helps decide whether an item may appear as a Market Opportunity. It is not attached to individual offers and is not a probability or guarantee.
07
Observed Evidence
Public Offers
Public offers are retained observations from publishable realms, shown with freshness and exclusion truth. An offer can be useful evidence without carrying its own valuation-confidence score.
08
Eligibility
Market Opportunities
Market Opportunities are derived spread instruments that appear only after valuation, freshness, coverage, and evidence-quality gates pass. They are informational leads, never promises of profit or availability.
09
Price Reading
Market states & how to read a price card
Prices throughout the ecosystem are classified by a market state that signals how the price is currently behaving. Learn these icons to read cards at a glance.
Stable
Price is holding steady. Nothing unusual is happening.
Rising
Price is trending upward across recent snapshots.
Falling
Price is trending downward across recent snapshots.
Unstable
Price is swinging or erratic. Treat values with extra caution.
Anatomy of a price card
Every price embed tells you more than just a number. Here's what to look for.
Price range
Shown as min–max cubits. A single number means min and max are equal.
Cubits (the currency)
Cubits are the in-game currency. The Cubit emoji appears beside the number on price cards.
Variants
Items like pets can have multiple variants (e.g. by level). The bot asks you which variant to price before posting.
Display cards
The image on a price card is a generated display card with the item, its collection, and metadata styled consistently.
History button
The 'Price History' button on any /price embed fetches the last 10 recorded snapshots privately.
Update broadcasts
Staff price updates can be broadcast to a configured channel in servers that opt in via /server_settings.
10
Alerts
Notifications, dashboard alerts, and Discord DMs
Notification behavior differs slightly by feature. The table below shows which channels each event uses and where to toggle delivery.
Watchlist
Watchlist updates use the in-app and Discord DM choices in Settings. Daily or weekly cadence batches the DM side.
Price Alerts
Price alert triggers use the in-app and Discord DM choices in Settings. Daily or weekly cadence batches the DM side.
Support Updates
Support updates use independent in-app and Discord DM choices in Settings and remain immediate.
Delivery matrix
Each personal event channel follows its saved Settings choice. Digest cadence affects only watchlist and price-alert DMs.
| Event | Dashboard | Discord DM | Toggle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Watchlist price update | Optional | Optional | /settings |
| Price alert triggered | Optional | Optional | /settings |
| Support ticket update | Optional | Optional | /settings |
| Requested vend scan result | Optional | Optional | /settings |
| Staff price broadcast | Server channel | — | /server_settings |

Help Desk
How the support system works
Support is shared between the dashboard and Discord. You can begin in either place, and staff uses one unified review flow.
Ticket lifecycle
Submitted
Created from the dashboard or Discord bot and placed into the shared review queue.
Under Review
Picked up by staff or opened into a live Discord ticket channel.
Responded
Staff has replied. You may now send one dashboard follow-up.
Archived / Closed
The ticket has been closed and can no longer receive replies or attachments.
Support rules and limits
- You may keep up to 4 open tickets at one time.
- After support replies, you may send one follow-up and then must wait for the next staff response.
- Dashboard tickets and dashboard follow-ups are mirrored into the Discord support workflow when a live ticket exists.
- Attachments are supported in the dashboard flow for the initial message and for dashboard follow-ups.
- Archived tickets are closed and cannot receive new replies or attachments.
- /support messages must be between 20 and 2000 characters so staff has enough context to help.
Ticket categories
The category you pick helps staff triage faster. Choose whichever best fits your request.
12
Roles
Who sees which tools
Some dashboard consoles and bot tools only appear for users with the right role or Discord permissions. This is the user-facing summary — staff operational commands are intentionally not documented here.
Regular User
Can use portfolio, watchlist, settings, and support features, plus bot commands: /price, /history, /watchlist, /settings, /support, and /suggest.
Server Administrator
Any member with Discord Administrator permission. Adds /server_settings (view, price_updates, set_channel) for configuring broadcasts in the server.
Price Updater
Staff role with access to the price-updater operational console. Commands at this tier are out of scope for this guide.
Bot Owner / Admin
Top-level staff with access to owner-only consoles and destructive operations. Commands at this tier are out of scope for this guide.

Vocabulary
Glossary
Short definitions for the Golden Stallion vocabulary you'll see across the dashboard and Discord bot.
- Cubits
- The in-game currency. Prices across the bot and dashboard are expressed in cubits.
- Market State
- A classification of how a price is currently moving: stable, rising, falling, or unstable.
- Variant
- An alternate version of an item — for example a pet at a specific level — that carries its own independent price.
- Watchlist
- Your personal list of items being tracked, up to 50 entries, used for notifications and quick reference.
- Portfolio
- Your dashboard workspace for managing holdings and quantities.
- Dispatcher
- The bot component that delivers Discord DMs. DMs are only sent while it is online and your DM privacy settings allow them.
- Ephemeral
- A Discord message only visible to you, used for pickers and confirmations that don't belong in the public channel.
- Modal
- A pop-up form inside Discord. /support and /suggest use modals to collect structured input.
- Ticket
- A single support request and its ongoing thread, tracked across the dashboard and Discord.

Answers
Frequently asked questions
Tap any question to expand it. These cover the clarifications users most often need while learning the dashboard and bot.
How many open tickets can I keep at once?
You can have up to 4 concurrent open support tickets.
Can I start support in the dashboard instead of Discord?
Yes. Dashboard support requests feed the same staff workflow as Discord bot submissions.
Can I upload files to support?
Yes. Dashboard support supports attachments on the initial request and on dashboard follow-ups.
Are Discord DMs guaranteed?
No. The system attempts to send them, but delivery still depends on Discord DM availability and the bot dispatcher being online.
Can I send several follow-ups in a row?
No. After support replies, you may send one follow-up and then must wait for the next staff response.
Are every dashboard tab and route fully live?
Not yet. Portfolio, Watchlist, Settings, Overview, Support, and Knowledgebase are live. Some tabs (Items, Marketplace, Wallet) remain placeholders.
How many items can I put on my watchlist?
Up to 50 items per account, across both /watchlist and the dashboard.
Do I need /server_settings if I only use the bot for /price?
No. /server_settings is only useful if you are a Server Administrator and want the bot to post price-update broadcasts in a specific channel.
What is the difference between /price and /history?
/price shows the current range and state for an item. /history shows the last 10 recorded snapshots so you can see how the price is trending.
Why does /price sometimes ask me to choose before posting?
That happens when your search matches multiple items or when the item has variants (e.g. different pet levels). You pick privately, then the final card is posted publicly.
